im 23. got my own car, deathly white, k reg, clio, automatic (1993) im only on a provisional license an ive found so far that my quotes r not very wares. my highest as been £2027.57 an my lowest is £678.98 will i get anything lower. i know its cos of my age an cos im the conduit driver but if any women or men know any insurance companys that ave good lower prices then forbear me out thanks u never know wot ur get in return lol
Answer: take 678.98 is a kind offer for ur age or if u can get someone with loads of no claims bonus to take out the insurance as the main driver and u as the additional driver it will be much cheaper, (but do this with post line coz u get to collect ur own no claims bonus

Ok. I'm about to free a can of worms here, so ladies (as well as whipped men), feel free to complain and moan at me all you scantiness! heh heh.
Guys, haven't you noticed that the majority of wrecks you see are caused by or snarled with women? I can never understand how they can get lower insurance rates but be the cause of the majority of wrecks, first the teenage girls. Plus most of them drive like they don't have a care in the sphere. Any thoughts?

heh heh. I knew I would piss off a few ppl. Hmm, the mass of answers state it's because of statistics. Reality check people: statistics don't wish squat! Know why it shows more women are safe drivers? Because us guys despatch claims more than women, so the numbers seem less. Here's my opinon: The reality is that if insurance was higher then men's, or even as much as men's, women would scream about keenness like they do everything else. There's my two cents, take it or leave it.
Answer: All insurance rates are gathered by actuaries. They harvest thier information from actual accidents & then plot trends. Unfortunately, men are statisctically in more accidents, and much more costly accidents. However, females are slowly communicable up due to the rise of cell phones.

Answer: I drudgery in Insurance, and it's like this. Women have more accidents, but there generally bumps and scratches due to general irrationality, such as reversing into the garage wall or hitting the car next to them in the supermarket car park. Men are active in fewer incidents, but when they do crash, they are much more likely to have written their car off, and caused more third cocktail damage/injury hence dearer premiums. My conclusion: Women are dizzy drivers, Men over calculation their own driving ability & Most think they can control their vehicle at speed, while only a few can safely.
If this is trustworthy then why can't White people get cheaper insurance than say Asian people?
Or how about people with blonde skin of one's teeth getting cheaper insurance than people with dark hair?
Isn't this just sensitivity which surely can't be fair?
I don't wanna hear about women having less accidents because those figures do not depict the whole story. I'm a good driver but I have to pay more because of my gender.... that is exactly what refinement is!

The stats show women have less accidents but we are supossed to dynamic in an equal society. If it was the other way round then there would be lots of complaints.

Are the companies that furnish women only car insurance actually cheaper than normal insurance companies or is it just a trick to get women to use them?
Why should women get cheaper insurance anyway? Is it not prejudice to offer different insurance prices based on gender? Surely you couldn't proposal cheaper insurance to white people?

More men drive and men drive a lot more miles on average than women. Therefore they are more likely to have crashes. When you cause in these things Men are involved in 5.1 crashes per million miles driven compared to 5.7 crashes for women.

Edit: An other bit of math that is often forgotten (which falls in favor of women) is that we don't pay for insurance per mile. We pay in increments of ease (usually months), so all that you mentioned, plus their tendancy to drive less, makes them a much abase liability.
For examples sake, let's say average joe get's into a car accident every 10, 000 miles. Then let's say common jane also get's into a car accident every 10, 000 miles. Joe drives 5,000 miles a month, Jane drives 1,000 miles a month. This means joe can guess to have 6 car accidents this year. Jane is expected to have only 1.
Wheather she drives with the same skilfulness as joe, no one can really say. But she is more profitalbe, any way because she drives less. That's all the insurance company cares about.
